Portugal South Coast - Lisbon to Spanish Border

The signs refer to this area as Barlavento Algarvio - the windward or western part of the Algarve region, in Portugal. It faces the Atlantic Ocean. We have not yet come far enough east for it to be called the Mediterranean.
